Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with the information you give us when you ask Hampshire Removals for a quote or get in touch. We keep it short and plain, because that’s how we try to run everything.

What we collect

When you use the quote form we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number and email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, an optional moving date, and any notes you add. If you email us, we hold what you send. That’s it — we don’t ask for anything we don’t need to quote and plan your move.

How we use it

We use your details to prepare your quote, arrange and carry out your move, and reply to your enquiry. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t pass it to anyone except the service providers who help us run the site and process your enquiry — for example, the secure system that receives quote submissions.

The tools we use

Our quote form uses Google reCAPTCHA to keep out spam and abuse, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used, loaded so it doesn’t slow the page down. These help us run the site; they aren’t used to build a profile of you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and move details only as long as we need them — to handle your move and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and any follow-up. When they’re no longer needed, we remove them.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email hello@hampshireremovals.uk and we’ll sort it out. If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the page. Any material change will be reflected here, so it’s worth checking back if it matters to you.
