A video walk-round or a visit tells us the volume, the access at both ends, and the pieces that need special thought, so the quote is itemised and the day has a plan behind it.

On the day
The crew arrives, protects the property, and works room by room. Furniture is dismantled where it needs to be, everything is loaded to a plan, and at the other end it comes off in a sensible order and goes where you want it. If you’d rather not face the boxes at all, our packing service covers everything; if the dates don’t line up, storage folds into the same plan.

Do you do small flat moves as well as big houses?
Yes — a studio or one-bed is just as welcome as a six-bed. We size the crew and van to the job, so a small move doesn’t pay for a big one, and a big house has enough hands to finish in good order.
Will you take furniture apart and rebuild it?
We dismantle what needs it — beds, wardrobes, flat-pack that won’t take the stairs — and put it back together where it’s going. Hampshire’s period homes throw up plenty of pieces that won’t turn a tight landing, and we plan those at the survey.
Can you pack for me too?
All of it, or just the fiddly parts. Most people hand over the kitchen and the glassware and pack their own clothes and books. Whatever you choose, packed items are labelled by room and inventoried so nothing goes missing.
What if my new place isn’t ready the same day?
It happens all the time in a chain. We can hold your things in secure storage and deliver when the keys come through, so you’re not forced into a same-day move that doesn’t suit you.
